Hi Lillian, thanks for your question. Once you take your cover off you should just have to balance the chemistry of the pool water. It will most likely be a little more work than other years as the bay water probably threw off the chemistry of the water in the pool quite a bit. If the liner was damaged the water will have to be drained out of the pool.

It was totally covered with bay water. I have a solid safety cover on it. Any tips on what I should do upon taking cover off and starting up pool? Will it have to be drained of the water if liner is ok?
